How to Write a Bio About a Pro football player

As I was walking through the University of Chicago campus, I saw a sign on a window that read, “Chicago Style writing” and I knew I had to write about the team.

I am a huge fan of the Bears and the team and I had read a lot of coverage about them and the organization over the years, so this was an easy way to write a bio about one of my favorite players.

Here are some of the tips I have learned along the way.

A bio should be short.

You need to be able to write 3-5 sentences per paragraph.

The best way to do this is to make sure you have enough sentences to be meaningful, but also to not overwhelm the reader.

You should also make sure that you have a way to link to the article, a page, a blog, etc. 2.

Avoid clichés.

If the sentence has a “but” or a “maybe,” they will think that the sentence is a suggestion that there is something to be learned.

If they are not sure whether or not you are saying it correctly, they will skip ahead to the next paragraph.

3.

Don’t use clichés that only apply to the people you are writing about.

For example, I am not saying that players don’t do well on the field.

I don’t want to imply that they don’t.

They certainly do, but there are many players who do not excel on the football field.

They have good teammates and coaches.

They are loyal.

They work hard and are passionate about their team.

They may not always have the best stats, but that doesn
